The Prince and the Princess

The Prince and the Princess

by Knight Shives

See the flying of the Prince,
I think he's angry at the pinsk.

He finds it hard to see the Grave,
Overshadowed by the terrible standing wave.

Who is that cuddling near the Coffin?
I think she'd like to eat the offen.

She is but a scary baby,
Admired as she sits upon a maybe.

Her cute car is just a sheep,
It needs no gas, it runs on weep.

She's not alone she brings a Tree,
a pet lobster, and lots of ne.

The lobster likes to chase a kangaroo,
Especially one that's in the thru.

The Prince shudders at the hot spider
He want to leave but she wants the snyder.

Auto Praise for The Prince and the Princess

"Ooh! I just love the rhymes in this work - 'Prince'/'pinsk' and 'Coffin'/'offen'. It takes real talent to come up with pairings like that!"
- The Daily Tale
"'The Prince and the Princess' is a crime against poetry!"
- Enid Kibbler
"Um.. As much as I like this poem, isn't 'standing wave' somewhat scraping the barrel when trying to rhyme 'Grave'?"
- Hit the Spoof
"Only a true poet can make the spider sound as hot as Knight Shives has!"
- Zob Gloop
"Can a car really run on weep?"
- Betty Borison
